Change Windows 8 Smartscreen Settings

1. Search for "Smartscreen" in the Windows 8 start screen. Select "Settings."

2. Click on "Change SmartScreen settings" in the top left corner of the screen.

3. Click on "CHange Windows SmartScreen settings" with the shield icon on the left side of the new Action Center screen that appears,

4. Select the SmartScreen option you want. You can either require administrator approval, have the screen only warn, or turn off SmartScreen.

5. Click "OK" to save the settings.
