Fix Problems with Windows Search in Windows 8

1. Search for "Windows search" in the Windows 8 Start menu, and then select the "Settings" option.

2. Choose the "Find and fix problems with Windows Search" option in the top left corner.

3. Click the "Next" button in the following screen that reads "Search and indexing."

4. Check the box next to the particular problem or problems that you're having, such as the "Email doesn't appear in search results" problem. Click "Next."

5. Select the answer to your problem to download it, or read it. You can also click "Explore additional options," or "Try troubleshooting as an administrator" to help solve the problem.
