1. Search for "homegroup" in the Windows 8 Start screen.
2. Select the "Change homegroup password" option that appears under "Settings."
3. Click on"View or Print the homegroup password" under where it says "Other homegroup actions" in the Change homegroup settings window.
4. Write down your password that appears onscreen to make sure that you don't forget it.
