Use a Different Program to Open PDF in Windows 8







1. Right-click on the folder icon in the bottom left corner of the taskbar in Windows 8 desktop. Select "File Explorer" from the options there.

2. Click on a drive that has a PDF file.

3. Right-click on any file with the PDF extension at the end of its name.

4. Select the "properties" option at the bottom of the selection possibilities that appear.

5. Click on the "Change" button listed next to "Opens with" in the properties window. Select a new program. Click "Apply," then "OK." THis will change the program that opens PDF for all such files.
