Set Program Access in Windows 8

1. Move your cursor to the bottom right corner of windows and select the "Search" option when it appears. It's the icon with the eyeglass.

2. Type in "default program" and then select the "Default programs" option that appears all the way on the left under "Apps."

3. Select the "Set program access and computer defaults" option at the bottom of the Default Programs screen.

4. Click on the "Custom" option under "Choose a configuration."

5. Check "Enable access to this program" next tot he program you want. Make sure you select the circle next to the program you want as well to set it as a default for the action you want. Click "OK."
