1. Press the Windows key on your keyboard to open the Start menu.
2. Type in "Wake up" and click on "Settings" in the green Search screen.
3. Select the "Require a password when the computer wakes" option in the top left corner of the Settings screen.
4. Click on "Change settings that are currently unavailable" in the System Settings screen that appears.
5. Select "Save changes" to make the new setting stick.
