Set Up a Windows 8 Computer for Remote Access

1. Open the Start menu in Windows 8 and search for "remote access." Click on the Settings option with the gear symbol.

2. Select the "Allow remote access to your computer" option at the top of the Settings screen.

3. Click on "Allow remote connections to his computer." Click on "Select Users" for additional settings.

4. Click "Add" if you want to only allow only certain users on your network to use your computer directly.

5. Hit the "Apply" button back in the System Properties screen to save the settings.
