Lock Your Files and Folders in Windows 8 Using Folder Lock

1. Conduct a search on Google for ‘Folder Lock’, it should show up on the very top result.

2. Click on the ‘free download’ button and allow some time for the download to complete.

3. Run the .exe file and accept the terms and conditions to use the program.

4. Install Folder Lock.

5. Set up your password. You’ll now be prompted to setup a master password, go ahead and setup a strong password for yourself.

6. Click on the ‘Lock Files’ tab and simply drag the files, folders or programs you want to lock and hide.
